The estradiol level is low because I hadn’t had an injection
for 3 weeks. The past blood tests were done within a couple
days to a week of an injection thus inflating the estradiol
level. I was curious to see what it was after 3 weeks.
My tryglycerides are double what they were 12.2004. I
think this is bad but on a rather postive note, my
cholesterol has dropped considerably.
No testosterone testing was done. I’m not sure why but my guess
would be that my doctor isn’t concerned with my testosterone
levels anymore since I haven’t changed my Spironolactone
dosage since 2003.

Just the hormone levels were done on this test. Total testosterone has
gone up a little bit but the more important test, Percent free Testosterone
has gone down further. Estradiol has gone up more then double. This blood
was drawn 1.5 weeks after the last Estradiol Valerate injection (injections
occur on a bi-weekly basis).

I don’t know why my doctor didn’t run the estrogen levels
this time. He didn’t run the testosterone since there was
no change in my medication. This was done nearly 2 months
after I started administering injectible estrogen and progesterone.
Not much change from the previous test results.

This is the first blood test I have had done since I
started administering hormones without a doctor’s supervision.
I think after almost a year on Spiro and 6 months on estrogen
I did pretty well in keeping myself healthy. As of this test,
I am now seeing a doctor for blood work and guidance on HRT.

My name is Erin. I was not always named Erin and I was not always a girl. One could argue that I am not a girl, perhaps a boy or both; maybe neither.
