- I booked a flight to Ottawa, ON for the last week of April.
- I have a Canadian Passport, 2-3 years old.
- I sent for a new birth certificate on November 3, 2006.
- I haven’t received a registered receipt that my original BC and application were received.
- USPS says it will take 60 days to perform an inquiry and tell me what they found as to why I don’t have a receipt.
- I have 3 months to get my new BC, apply for a New Passport and receive it — ya right.
Apparently, I can get back into the United States without a passport because a valid permanent resident alien card can be substituted.
So I guess my question now to answer is: Can I get into Canada with something other then a Passport or can I use my old one with name change documents?
I won’t comment a whole lot on the previous week. I want to keep some things to myself.
I will say that I had a wonderful week though. It was great to see my best friend in the world again and hang out. Their wedding was beautiful and I am so happy for them both. I know they will be truly happy with each other for the rest of their lives.
I was the best man, I gave a speech which everyone said I did a wonderful job on. I was hoping that I wasn’t going to mess it up. I almost cried myself while I was speaking it.
I am just so happy for them both and I know they will always be behind me 100%.
Well, tomorrow is the big day. At 3:30 PM my best friend and his fiance are tying the knot. We had the rehearsal this afternoon and the bachelor party last night. The party was a lot of fun.
It is kinda cold up here. There is no green on the plants, no buds on the trees, it’s like a time warp back a season. The plane ride was okay. The first plane was bumpy, the pilot had to fly around a huge storm and then the turbo prop plane wasn’t much fun either. It was really loud and rough. I am not looking forward to that short plane ride back.
I am having fun up here. It is great to see some of my family again and my best friend. I will be flying back on Monday afternoon and staying the night with my sister in Atlanta that night since I get in late. I’ll see y’all later in the week. Bye for now, Erin.
I haven’t been too active on my blog lately, I appologize but I haven’t really done much.
I did graduate. I had the ceremony on the 15th and now have my degree in a frame
It’s been nice since I been out of school. I have been bustin’ my little butt on my new website though. I have spent tons of hours on it since I been outta school and had time.
I still have no job but I intend to look for one when I get back from Canada at the end of the month. I leave Monday for Canada. I am attending my best friend’s wedding and I’m his best man. I am so looking forward to seeing him and his fiancee again and seeing them get married. I’ll be back in Georgia on the 31st.
See y’all then…
I am having a really good time up here. Much needed get away from Augusta. I am now in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada visiting my best friend and his fiancee. I have never been to this city before. It is soo beautiful here. I got many pictures from around town, the Parliament building is really cool. It is soo great to be able to see my friend again, its been a couple years since we got to hang out.
Although being up here has made me realize something I thought I could overlook before but now I know I cannot and it complicates my life even more but I will not get into that now, maybe next time I’ll expand on that thought.
For now, see ya later, eringurrl in canada.
Hi everyone! Yes, I am on my vacation. I am having a good time up here. Today is my grandmother’s birthday (she turned 80!). Its nice to see some of my cousins, aunts and uncles again. On a more serious note, I think so far, getting away from Augusta/home is going to do me some good. I don’t know why but I am feeling better about myself. I am still having trouble here and there with my emotions and life in general but things just seem better since I left Friday. I leave Saturday to fly to Ottawa to see my best friend. I hope to have a blast with him! I havn’t seen him or his fioncee in 2 years now. Anyhow, thought I’d drop a little note for the ones who care. Take care everyone.

My name is Erin. I was not always named Erin and I was not always a girl. One could argue that I am not a girl, perhaps a boy or both; maybe neither.
